Comment on 'Raga Unveiled'

The History of Hindustani North Indian Classical Music has definitely been preserved throughout the years. The India culture, history, and evolution is learned and experienced in music melodies that touch an outsider’s heart. India’s “living identity” is expressed through the instrumental and vocal sounds of celebratory music. Once the instructor opens his mouth with the sounds of his heart, the musicians are immediately backing it up with their instruments. It is an amazing display of coordination and unity that flows like the currents of the sea. Amazing! If only the people of the world could come together like this to combat the environmental disasters of human technology. Alas, North India is a third world country that may be oblivious to the declining health of the earth.
